Privacy

Only what the work needs:

• Your dealership website and an email address. These are the two fields on the scan form. We read your business name, city and inventory from the site rather than asking you to type them again.
• Billing details if you buy something. These go straight to Stripe and we never see or store your card number.
• Anything you send us by email during a project — vendor contacts, account approvals, replies on a thread.
• Basic usage data from this website: pages viewed, approximate region, referring link. We do not run advertising trackers and we do not sell this to anyone.

There is no account and no login, so there is no password for us to lose.

The work itself produces data: the questions we asked, the answers ChatGPT and Google’s AI gave, the timestamp of each one, the dealerships named, and the websites those answers cited. Your report is built from that record and we keep the raw answers behind it so any finding can be traced.

Those answers come from third-party AI systems. They are not our statements, they change from day to day, and we publish them as recorded rather than as fact.

You. Your report lives at a private link sent to the address you gave us. We do not publish your results, we do not use your dealership’s name or numbers in our marketing, and we do not sell or share your data with data brokers.

Other dealerships are named inside your report — that is the point of it — but your report is never shown to them, and theirs is never shown to you.

A short list of service providers, each doing one job:

• Stripe — payments.
• Our email provider — sending your scan, your report and project correspondence.
• Our hosting and analytics providers — running this site.
• OpenAI and Google — we send them the questions a buyer would ask about your market. We do not send them your email address or your billing details.
• Your website provider or vendor — but only the specific fixes we are asking them to make, and only once you have told us to contact them.

We will also disclose information if the law requires it, and we will tell you when we are permitted to.

Free scans and their raw answers are kept for 12 months. Paid reports and the answers behind them are kept for 24 months, so a later run can be compared with an earlier one. Billing records are kept as long as tax law requires. Ask us to delete any of it and we will, within 30 days, except where we are legally required to keep it.

Email contact@aioplaybook.com and we will, at no charge: send you a copy of what we hold about you, correct anything wrong, delete your data, or stop contacting you. No form, no account, no retention call.

Depending on where you live you may have additional rights — for example under the California Consumer Privacy Act. We apply the list above to everyone regardless.

We sometimes run a scan for a dealership that has not asked for one and email the results to a business address published on that dealership’s own website. That scan contains only questions we asked AI systems and the answers they gave. Reply asking us to stop and we delete the scan and add you to a do-not-contact list, permanently.

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is limited to the people doing the work. No system is perfect; if a breach affects your data we will tell you promptly and plainly.

This is a service for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

If we change this page we will change the date at the top. If a change materially affects what we do with your data, we will email you before it takes effect.
